Games Workshop and Bandai team up to bring us 40k action figures and chibi grimdark (as if Funko Pops were grimdark enough). On Kickstarter we talk about Good Society, a Jane Austen RPG, Trilemma, a compendium of system-independent adventure locations and Icaion by Tabula Games, their third game offering in the Mysthea Universe. Plus the worst Bela Lugosi impression. Ever.

Video: Mutant: Mechatron – Rise of the Robots LONG Review

Another deep dive into an RPG where we have both read the book and played a few session. This time it is Mutant: Mechatron – Rise of the Robots by Free League. It uses their Year Zero Engine, d6 dice pool system, and although it is a stand-alone game your robots can play with characters in both Mutant Year Zero and Genlab, once they escape Mechatron-7. We give you an overview of the system, character creation and the setting. Also a discussion of the surprising challenge of playing self-aware robot player characters. If you are familiar with Mutant Year Zero this is a great new take on post-apocalyptic characters and if you are new to the system and setting, it is well worth your time. FATE of Cthulhu using time travel to avoid problematic mental illness elements of Lovecraft. The series finale of Game of Thrones will get a live stream and postmortem after it airs by Idle Red Hands. John Carter of Mars 2d20 RPG is getting a Player Reference and responsive character sheet from us. Homophobia in Ravnica addressed by Wizards of the Coast. Tomb Guardians delays Amazons release but shows off some beautiful 3D dungeon tiles.

Modiphius has released two new supplements for their Infinity RPG based on the Corvus Belli miniatures wargame. The Haqqislam and Ariadna now have books that focus on these factions in the Infinity universe. We will be review this system and the new supplements in an upcoming podcast. Nick has been designing a giant mech combat game that he recently playtested. Both Nick and Jeremy have been livestreaming their miniature painting and also playing some Aristeia, another Corvus Belli game in the Infinity universe, on Tabletop Simulator.
